The Reward of Diligent Seekers
“He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” —Hebrews 11:6
The word “diligent” means: unrelenting, enthusiastic, preserving, attentive, eager, studious, earnest and persistent.”
Do those words describe you? How about the opposite of diligence? Weary, indifferent, negligent, lethargic, unenthusiastic, careless, idle, disinterested, lazy, inattentive, neglectful.
The key to diligent seeking is not a new resolution or discipline, but a fresh revelation of the beauty, the power and the nearness of the indwelling presence of God. When that becomes real to you, seeking then becomes a joy-filled, interactive, non-stop adventure, flowing out of an ever deepening relationship with the Father. If we seek Him we will find Him if we search for Him with all of our heart. Jer 29:13
Meditate on Proverbs 2:1-5
Ask God for a renewed hunger and thirst to seek Him.
