Fire in the Pulpit
“Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.” Paul -Acts 20:31
In the late 1800’s a couple of Salvation Army workers were laboring in an evangelistic mission with little or no result. They wrote the founder, General William Booth, to express their dismay and ask for advice. He wrote back with two words, “Try tears.” It seems that spiritual breakthrough is connected to tears.
Whenever you find a church weeping over the lost, you see people get saved. And wherever you find a church weeping for revival you are likely to have a divine visitation! Whenever you find a pastor who weeps in the secret place for the people he leads, you will find fire in the pulpt and a message that changes lives.
“The best sermon is preached by the minister who has a sermon to preach and not by the man who has to preach a sermon.” -William Feather

Proclamations and Prayer
“Father, in the name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit I pray for my pastor and the leaders in my church that they would grow deep in prayer and intimacy with you in the secret place. I pray that they would be saturated in Your word. Guard them from the temptation to please men. Let them burn with prophetic authority and preach the uncompromised Word of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen!Download the full Prayer Guide for Day 11
