For My Church
“..On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it..’” -Matthew 16:18
A local church is a community of believers united by faith in the saving knowledge and revelation of Jesus Christ. It is meant to be dynamically gathered around the supernatural manifest presence of God and watched over by godly elders and leaders who model the truth of the gospel and who care and feed the people of God. It is also commissioned and empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach and demonstrate the Kingdom of God reaching all people at the point of need. Acts 2:41-47
The first century church in the book of Acts was a church in continual revival. Through it the message of the Kingdom spread until half the Roman Empire was converted. The church in revival is the most power institution on earth. Throughout the centuries pagan religions could not compete with it. Greek philosophy could not outwit it, and persecution only purified it and made it grow more rapidly. Today we need a great awakening and revival in the church of America. Let it begin in my church!

Proclamations and Prayer
“Father, in the name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit I am asking You to let the spirit of revival begin in me first. As I pray today for a great outpouring of Your Spirit upon my local church, Father, bring a deep conviction of sin. Expose and bring to light any thing that is hindering the full release of Your Spirit in us. Awaken those who may be asleep. Give us a fresh burden for those without Christ and empower us to reach them at the point of need. In Jesus’ name, Amen!Download the full Prayer Guide for Day 9
